Beyond Compare

Let Shakespeare compare his love to a summer’s day
Your worth can only be appreciated on a winter’s night
White snow, black ice, cold winds cannot hold sway
Your warm, warm body wrapped around mine so tight;

When you move the world stops to stare
You give me strength – and make me weak
Flowers are fair, diamonds are rare
But you are unique.

Sexy Mama

Hey, pretty mama, what you cooking tonight
You got the recipe, babe, wrap it around your man
It’s the way to his heart

Get you some sugar
Add a little spice
Cook it in your pot
Very nice

Sweet mama, you’re soft as a flower
Let your daddy sail across your water
You know he’s got good taste
Hand it to him on a plate

Stir it in rhythm
One two, one two
Jelly roll it to him
And he will meatball it to you

Sexy mama, try a new dish tonight
Don’t lose your man, babe, keep him fresh
Like he was at the start
You got the recipe, babe, wrap it around your man
It’s the way to his heart.

Gypsy Girl

I felt the heat
The moment I walked in the door
You had kicked off your shoes
And you were out on the floor

Dance on, dance on, gypsy girl.

Love the way you come on
The way you run your tongue over your lips
And the way you close your eyes
When you grind your hips

Jerking, bucking
Across the floor
Swaying, gliding
Light as a shadow

We all follow you with our eyes
Nobody can touch you – nobody
With your dress flying up above your thighs
Clinging to the curves of your dancing body

With your eyes flashing
And your hair flying
You got the crowd behind you
Everybody’s connected
They’re all feeding off
Your wild, wild energy

Gypsy girl
You got hot blood
Running through your veins
You got something
No-one could ever hope to tame

Dance on, dance on.

My Heart Is In My Mouth

Don’t kiss me on the dance floor
I’m just happy to dance non-stop
Don’t kiss me on the shop floor
I want you to buy till you drop;
Don’t kiss me till the time is right
When we’re rolling in the hay
Don’t kiss me till you hold me tight
Then you take my breath away.

My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, while
My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, smile
My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, while
My heart is in your mouth
My heart is in your mouth.

Don’t kiss me while we’re holding hands
I’m just happy to be close
Don’t kiss me in front of your friends
You know I don’t like to pose;
Don’t kiss me softly on the cheek
That’s not going to make it happen
Don’t kiss me playing hide and seek
Let it all hang out in the open.

My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, while
My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, smile
My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, while
My heart is in your mouth
My heart is in your mouth.

Don’t kiss me while sitting on the fence
Tell me your heart’s desire
Don’t kiss me playing a game of chance
Tell me what lights your fire;
Don’t kiss me till I whisper words of love
In your oven I want to roast
Don’t kiss me till we are near the stars above
I will kiss you where you feel it the most.

My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, while
My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, smile
My heart is in my mouth
Kiss me now, while
My heart is in your mouth
My heart is in your mouth.

This Moment In Time

Raise your hand … reach up so high
True love has wings … touch the sky

This moment in time
Yours and mine
This moment divine
Yours and mine
This moment in time
Yours and mine.

Before we start, let me tell you straight
Don’t waste Time, the worms lie in wait
I love you, love me before it’s too late;
I promise to always love you in style
Even if we are together for a short while
Look back and remember with a smile;
This one moment we will never regret
This one moment to only connect.

This moment in time
Yours and mine
This moment divine
Yours and mine
This moment in time
Yours and mine.

Stop Father Time, break his hands
Order him to obey your commands
Make him follow your demands;
Reach for a star and write your name
Stake your claim to everlasting fame
Every great love in history does the same;
This one moment close to oblivion
This one moment close to heaven.

This moment in time
Yours and mine
This moment divine
Yours and mine
This moment in time
Yours and mine.

Write it down on History’s page
Return to the moment in another Age
After us others will take the Stage;
For each of us there will be other relations
For each of us there will be other liaisons
For each of us there will be other passions;
This one moment before we are lost in the mist
This one moment to know why we exist.

This moment in time
Yours and mine
This moment divine
Yours and mine
This moment in time
Yours and mine.

It’s Just a Matter Of Time

It’s just a matter of time
Before I make you mine
It’s just a matter of time
Before our hearts entwine
It’s just a matter of time
Before I kiss your lips of wine
It’s just a matter of time
Before we make love divine
It’s just a matter of time.

From the moment we first met
You felt your heart was under threat
You tried to seek refuge
You resorted to subterfuge
You were playing hard to get
Knowing your resistance would melt
You covered your tracks leaving no signs
But I could read between the lines.

It’s just a matter of time
Before I make you mine
It’s just a matter of time
Before our hearts entwine
It’s just a matter of time
Before I kiss your lips of wine
It’s just a matter of time
Before we make love divine
It’s just a matter of time.

It’s human nature for a girl to act shy
It’s part of the game for a boy to try and try
You can build walls, put up defences
Say ‘No’ but I still fancy my chances
You can turn me away, lock me out
But I know what is what
Just let me get my foot in the door
You will beg me for more and more.

It’s just a matter of time
Before I make you mine
It’s just a matter of time
Before our hearts entwine
It’s just a matter of time
Before I kiss your lips of wine
It’s just a matter of time
Before we make love divine
It’s just a matter of time.

You and me were meant to be
We cannot avoid our destiny
God has a purpose for every little thing
Imagine if nightingales couldn’t sing
Imagine if flowers had no perfume
Imagine a love that makes your heart bloom
Some things are found on the backseat of cars
Others you have to look for among the stars.

It’s just a matter of time
Before I make you mine
It’s just a matter of time
Before our hearts entwine
It’s just a matter of time
Before I kiss your lips of wine
It’s just a matter of time
Before we make love divine
It’s just a matter of time.

Lata (Songbird of Ages)

You have a voice that expresses the way I feel
You have a voice like the laying on of hands that heal
Lata, please, help me, help me forget
The girl I never should have met;
I’ve had her but I cannot have her
She’s my life but I have to live without her
I love her with an obsession
She will never be my possession.

Songbird, sing to me
Sing to me sweet and low
Fill my ears with melody
Before my tears begin to flow
Your soothing voice comforts me
Eases the pain to think she had to go.

So much melody pouring out from such a small chalice
Only God could have blessed you with such a voice …
Once upon a time we made love to your songs of joy
We sang along, we swore nothing would our love destroy;
Those days have gone as if they had never been
Sweet nothings I whispered have turned into a silent scream
She pierced the heart I had given her and left me to bleed
Blessed angel, sing and comfort me in my hour of need.

Songbird, sing to me
Sing to me sweet and low
Fill my ears with melody
Before my tears begin to flow
Your soothing voice comforts me
Eases the pain to think she had to go.

I am gripped by emotions I cannot understand
I am torn by forces I cannot comprehend
She said if she married me her parents would die
What about me? … I have a lifetime to cry;
The path of love is covered with flowers and blood, flowers and blood
The path of love is littered with corpses who drowned in the flood
Oh, Lata, please, pour your nectar into my ears
Help me, help me before I drown in my own tears.

Songbird, sing to me
Sing to me sweet and low
Fill my ears with melody
Before my tears begin to flow
Your soothing voice comforts me
Eases the pain to think she had to go.

Rosemeen (Rose of Kashmir)

Rosemeen, why are you in England?
What are you doing here?
This is not your soil or your land
Your roots are in Kashmir;
Your skin reminds me of those snow-capped mountains
Your voice reminds me of those singing silver streams
Your eyes remind me of those deep valleys and misty plains
Your lips remind me that your kisses are more than just dreams.

Rosemeen, you are without a peer
Your beauty is beyond compare
The sun smiles when you appear
Songbirds wing through the air
Flowers bloom when you are near
Rosemeen, rose of Kashmir.

Imagine a body that makes every organ thirst
Imagine angels singing a melody so divine
Imagine a face that makes your heart burst
Imagine a rose that’s been watered with wine;
If I could bottle your perfume
I would be a millionaire overnight
If I could plant you in my room
I would love you day and night.

Rosemeen, you are without a peer
Your beauty is beyond compare
The sun smiles when you appear
Songbirds wing through the air
Flowers bloom when you are near
Rosemeen, rose of Kashmir.

There’s not a pear in the world
That has curves like your hips
There’s not a rose in the world
That’s as red as your lips;
There’s a ‘heaven on Earth’ just for you
Go back to Kashmir before you get hurt
I will be waiting there to pick you
And wear you next to my heart.

Rosemeen, you are without a peer
Your beauty is beyond compare
The sun smiles when you appear
Songbirds wing through the air
Flowers bloom when you are near
Rosemeen, rose of Kashmir.

Your Thieving Eyes (Stole My Heart Away)

In the time it takes to blink
You sealed my fate with a wink
One look said all there was to say
My blood on fire, you took my breath away
A sledgehammer started pounding in my chest
My heart now beats in your tender breast.

You robbed me blind with a crook of your eye
Your thieving eyes (x2) stole my heart away
I wanted to shout but I could only sigh
Your thieving eyes (x2) stole my heart away.

I just stood there as if I had lost my voice
Your eyes, oh, your eyes left my heart no choice
Time stood still as you looked my way
I swore I would love you till my dying day
My heart missed a beat as if about to die
My feet were rooted but my soul touched the sky.

You robbed me blind with a crook of your eye
Your thieving eyes (x2) stole my heart away
I wanted to shout but I could only sigh
Your thieving eyes (x2) stole my heart away.

I want to drown myself in those twin pools
I want to see myself in those sparkling jewels
I want them to look at me and smile
I want them to invite me all the while
How can your innocent eyes be so wicked?!
I want to look into each one and kiss it!

You robbed me blind with a crook of your eye
Your thieving eyes (x2) stole my heart away
I wanted to shout but I could only sigh
Your thieving eyes (x2) stole my heart away.

This Is The Last Song

This is the last song
I’ll ever write about you
This is the last song
I’ll ever dedicate to you
This is the last song
I’ll ever sing for you
This is the last song
In loving memory of you.

The pools of your almond eyes
Where the love-light flowed over the brim
The ocean of lava between your thighs
Where I always loved to swim
Our limbs were wings that flew the skies
Our bodies felt like a pagan pilgrim
All our prayers were said with heartfelt sighs
I worshipped at your holy place deep within.

This is the last song
I’ll ever write about you
This is the last song
I’ll ever dedicate to you
This is the last song
I’ll ever sing for you
This is the last song
In loving memory of you.

Sugar was like salt compared to your kiss
So sweet that no words can tell
Your hips had a path leading to bliss
So narrow that love died if it fell
But I went up that path as easy as this
You said no-one else could do it half as well
But now … oh, it is torture to reminisce
Farewell, my sweet love, farewell.

This is the last song
I’ll ever write about you
This is the last song
I’ll ever dedicate to you
This is the last song
I’ll ever sing for you
This is the last song
In loving memory of you.

Till The End Of Time

My sweet love, you will live till the end of time
With eternal rhymes I will build you a shrine
So long as there are songs men will sing that you are mine
With your song you will live till the end of time.

I bless the day I first made you mine
For evermore I will drink your lips of wine
Till eternity we will make love so divine;
Two hearts beat as one, two bodies entwine
Every little thing has its moment to shine
But your flame will burn for all time.

My sweet love, you will live till the end of time
With eternal rhymes I will build you a shrine
So long as there are songs men will sing that you are mine
With your song you will live till the end of time.

Nightingales have bells that can really ring
But they only seem to sing in the spring
My love song to you will be everlasting;
Flowers of every kind bloom and fade away
Nothing in this world is here to stay
But you, my love, will live for ever and a day.

My sweet love, you will live till the end of time
With eternal rhymes I will build you a shrine
So long as there are songs men will sing that you are mine
With your song you will live till the end of time.

We will live our days loving the nights
Together we will scale the heights
I will show you all the sights;
Other boys promise to always love thee
But a promise is not a guarantee
My love, only I can give you immortality.

My sweet love, you will live till the end of time
With eternal rhymes I will build you a shrine
So long as there are songs men will sing that you are mine
With your song you will live till the end of time.
