Tears are natural diamonds from the eyes
Precious as they are I don’t want them
For I don’t want you to cry –
A smile on your face is a priceless gem.

When I write
I am
When I don’t
I am not.

I will kill you
So that I can live
I will take your life
So that I can have a better life
Personal satisfaction
The desire of every creature
Self – preservation
The first law of Nature
Plant the bomb
And walk away
You fight to kill them
To live another day
Now here is the jest
To make your jaw drop
Paddy never wore a vest
Paki blows HIMSELF up.

We’ve done it, we’ve pulled it off
They fell for it without a murmur
They swallowed it hook, line and sinker
We’ve gotten away with murder
No one asked why when we told the Big Lie
“The terrorist was cooking up a curry and rice bomb”
The mixture in every kitchen is pie in the sky
“We foiled the plot by shooting the vindaloo bum”
Not a question asked, not a doubt raised
No one bothered to look past the smokescreen
Our security forces were all highly praised
Hand on heart, singing, “More profit to the Queen”
Our Media will sugar-coat the pill
Our way of life is preserved
The little pigs will eat this swill
The Paki got what he deserved.

If you write It
It is a job of work
If it writes itself
It is a work of Art.

” Hold Conscious Thought the way you hold your breath ”
The Eye that sees itSelf – everything, everything else is death;
The human brain is the greatest miracle in the known universe
But Conscious Thinking makes that blessing a great curse.
If you understand it
And you apply it
You will understand the gods
And how they apply it.

From the countless herd only a few can manage
I stand before you
If you made me in your own image
I stand before you
My life’s work has been to pay homage
I stand before you
I have forged myself in your image
I stand before you
You set the mark and I rose to the challenge
I stand before you
Acknowledge the effort – pay me homage
I stand before you.

He was a writer of rare genius
He wrote thirty-seven plays
And one hundred and fifty-four sonnets
He was gay
He was not from Stratford-upon-Avon
‘William Shakespeare’ was a pseudonym
The world may be a stage, and Life a mocking jest
But after Time has put your Work to the test
Who really gives a toss about all the rest?!

The religion I believe in
One in a billion
This mind, heart, soul, all within
I am my own religion
One in a billion.

If you write it, they will come
In recognition
If it is right, they will come
By the million.

Quick – write it down
Before Time moves on
And you are forgotten.

It’s the work. The work.
The creating. The creation;
It’s the process that counts.
The process. The end product
That’s the life. That is life.
It’s not the bright flash, or the cheap trash
It’s not the hot, easy pussy or the cold, hard cash
It’s not the media, using smoke and mirrors to dupe
It’s not the circus, tittle tattle, the mix of the soup;
What you create, the body of work,
With your name on it :
That will be remembered
When it’s added up and numbered
The work will live on
After you are long gone.
